Buffalo Chicken Wrap Recipe:


In this recipe I have mentioned store-bought Buffalo Sauce.

WheneverBuffalo Chicken comes to mind the first thing I always imagine is Buffalo Wings but these wraps are so much better than those wings plus a filling complete meal.

This recipe takes hardly under 30 mins to fix lunch / dinner for you,plus if you have rotisserie chicken / leftover chicken with you then all you need to assemble and eat!

Homemade Buffalo Sauce:

What I have done here to make homemade Buffalo Sauce is that just melted around 1/3 cup butter in a pan.

Once melted you have to take it off the heat and added around 1/4 cup Franks Hot Sauce,1 Tablespoon White Vinegar and 1.5 Teaspoon Garlic Powder,just mix everything and use in your recipe.

You can go for this method or use store-boughtBuffalo Sauce.

In the recipe I have mentioned is store-boughtBuffalo sauce but you can always use this recipe and try if you do not want to go for a store-bought big jar of sauce.

Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps Ingredients:

Chicken(precooked)/ Rotisserie / Grilled: Here I have boiled the Chicken breast and shredded/cubed it with the help of knife and fork.

You can instead use some leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken or any other grilled chicken you have and shred / cube it.

Buffalo Sauce: Use store-boughtjar of Buffalo Sauce or make your own. I have mentioned above my own way of making Buffalo Sauce at home.

Tortilla: Use flour tortilla for this recipe usually the 9 to 10 Inch one's.

ColeslawMix: Use either store-bought coleslaw mix or do what I did this saves so much one store-bought things plus you get to use fresh ingredients in the recipe.

I have used shredded cabbage, onion(optionally you can also add some shredded carrot and bell peppers too).

Cream Sauce for Coleslaw: The white creamy sauce used in the recipe is shared in my Bang Bang Shrimp Taco recipe.

This sauce is very simple,very creamy and easy to whip up with readily available ingredients.I have used sugar,pepper powder, mayonnaise,whipping cream and lime juice to make the sauce.

How To Make Buffalo Chicken Wrap:

Step1: In a mixing bowl,add the shredded chicken and coat well with Buffalo Sauce.



To use the chicken,either cook the chicken breast,discard the water and shred it or cube it.



You can also use Grilled Chicken or Rotisserie Chicken.

Step2: Place a large 9 to 10 Inch flour tortilla and place the shredded buffalo chicken.



Step3: Next add the slaw mix of your choice.I have used shredded cabbage and sliced onion.



Step4: Place lettuce on top and add the creamy sauce.



Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then fold the tortilla from bottom.



For the wrap to hold together use a toothpick to hold it together.



Wrap it around with parchment/butter paper or foil.

    Ingredients

    • 1.5 Cup Shredded/Cubes Cooked Chicken (Cook Chicken Breast and then shred or cube it)
    • 1/3 Cup Hot Buffalo SauceThe 30-Minute Buffalo Chicken Wrap Recipe (6)
    • 3 Large Flour TortillasThe 30-Minute Buffalo Chicken Wrap Recipe (7),9 to 10 Inch
    • 3 Leaves Iceberg Lettuce,chopped or use them as it is
    • Cream Sauce for the slaw - Refer to the Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe for slaw sauce
    • 1/2 Cup Coleslaw MixThe 30-Minute Buffalo Chicken Wrap Recipe (8) or sliced cabbage and onion

    Instructions

    1. In a bowl add the shredded or cubed chicken.
      To this add the buffalo sauce and mix to coat the chicken well with the sauce.
    2. Place the tortilla,to that add the chicken.
      Next add the slaw mix or sliced cabbage and onion.
      Next add the lettuce ,either chopped or whole leaves.
      Add the creamy sauce.
    3. To roll the wrap,bring the two sides of the tortilla in the middle and fold the bottom side up.
      To hold the wrap in place use a toothpick to hold it together.
      Wrap around this with a foil.
      Serve immediately.
